Whenever I catch myself scrolling my socials for no reason, I make myself stop especially on Twitter lately. It’s been information overload.

Creating animated gifs is a meditation in itself; there are endless ways to make this however you want. I had to stop working on it because I could change the colors and gradients or add more frames to this for HOURS. You really do lose track of time when creating something fun and I miss doing that.

These two emojis are power symbols to me. Today on Jupiter day (the planet of expansion, faith and good luck) we can repeat this simple sentence to ourselves:

Money flows to me easily and effortlessly.
All my needs and desires are met before I even ask.

Yes, money is a construct just like time. And yet on this plane, we are all slaves to it – time and money.

I vibe coded a website for the first time using Claude/Sonnet 4.6. But first things first, what is vibe coding? It’s a way to speed up your workflow by prompting an AI assistant to build it for you. Building this myself would’ve taken me weeks since I’m not a hardcore web programmer but Claude just sped it up in 1-2 days.

I wanted it to be fun and cute and just for me. I didn’t want to think about monetizing it ’cause then it wouldn’t be fun anymore. So above are screenshots that I turned into an animated gif.

It’s basically a site where you can customize your pet. It’s an ode to my favorite game of all time, SuperPoke! Pets from MySpace days. It had the cutest graphics, pets, habitats and items and it was the first time I ever spent real money on virtual goods.

I managed to save a jpeg of my pet tiger Maru:

A mood – the Gen X introvert with her moon and Pluto in Libra who loves tigers. People think I’m shy but it’s more like…I just really don’t talk that much, especially if it’s a basic ass conversation. Although I talk to myself a lot when I’m driving to stay present.

What makes me this way…is it my introversion or my planets in my 8th house?

In between rage cleaning the house while listening to Metallica’s Orion on repeat, I stumbled upon a gif with my custom graphics; it was a repeating background of my first tiger tattoo, a scanned drawing of my angel bunny and a rose I traced over a real photo in Photoshop that I would use for Myspace (IYKYK) back in the early 2000’s. I honestly don’t even know how I did this but of course, I animated it. I also looked through the layers and found an old screenshot and a customized contact box, lol.

Customizing my Myspace profile was how I started to learn web design; because I was so obsessed with my profile looking original, I would always tinker with the custom CSS code so I can make it look however I wanted. And then I would make a custom background and someone would steal it. Good times, lol.

I really miss blogging and reading my friends’ thoughts. I miss Roxy and the OTP crew.

Satisfying Kawaii Tiger Jelly Cutting

The reality is whether you like it or not, AI is here to stay and we have to adapt to it, adding it to our workflow. In my case, I’ve been experimenting with Google’s Flow Veo3 because my employer no longer wants to pay for commercials that don’t capture his vision. So I’m here learning how to use the tools so I can do what’s required of me.

Admittedly, I’m actually having fun creating these; am I so vain that I enjoy seeing myself in my creations even though it’s AI generated? That’s where the frame to video feature comes in – you can add a frame (photo) to make your AI generated stuff more original.

So yeah, enjoy my little experiments. I’m going to post more when I get a chance.

This is a 6″x4″ red & black postcard size sticker that I made years ago (2008). I still have a few left.

I got this sticker made when I was still writing “SHERM” as a graffiti artist. I was into deformed figures (like the Super Deformed Gundams) and Japanese tattoo art at the time and so created these characters.
