Another virtual character experiment using my voice, this time I used Gemini to generate the character of me, then had it talk and animate in Flow Veo3. Then I had to record my own voice to replace the voice Veo3 generated and edited in Adobe Premiere. I’m sure they’ll find a way to do this faster but for now, here’s the result.
I’m procrastinating and holding off on creating my character for VTube Studio; it’s daunting and a lot of work. Also because I’m building an avatar/character of myself – I’m hella picky. But for now, this will do.
While people bring photos of their loved ones to work, I bring my rocks lol. Everything I say sounds crazy anyways but for a Fire/Air/Air dominant person – the stones actually ground me into the present moment. They literally keep me from floating away.

I’ve been learning a new program in Adobe for work purposes these last couple of days; it’s called Adobe Character Animator (2026 version). With this app, you can create a character and it will sync up to your voice and body movements…
Obviously this doesn’t even look like me, but just wanted to do something fast. It is my voice though.
Next up, trying to figure out the alpha channel so I can put a custom background, there are some little annoying things with Ch that I don’t like. Anyways, so much to learn and figure out still!

I’m pretty happy with how this one came out. I used a photo of myself in a white fox mask that I modified in Photoshop. Can’t wait to do more but of course I have to wait or else buy more credits.
This video was filmed 13 years ago – the year was 2011, when I was still painting graffiti. I was pretty chunky too, haha. I like how my piece came out btw. Oh and the comments are funny now that I look back at it; I actually avoided reading them for a long time because feelings or whatever or even watching the video because of my weight. Of course most guys always have something gross to say.
I gotta say, this was fun to make. I started doing this because I hated how things looked on TikTok – the white outlines around text BUGS me, like nothing is pleasing to look at on there.
Initially, I used the Rotoscoping Brush in After Effects, but it didn’t work. So I started rotoscoping it manually. Rotoscoping is the fancy term in After Effects that “cuts” the person out of the background. It’s painstaking to do it frame by frame, that’s why they have the Rotoscoping Brush tool.
The downside of rotoscoping this manually? I experienced tennis elbow. My right elbow, arms and hand all became stiff and it hurt to move it for a few days. Luckily, some electrical stimulation and Aleve helped me recover quickly.
Should I blame it on getting old or just overdoing it with this project? I probably overextended myself. Either way, I feel as if my body can’t do fun things anymore because I’m getting old. Like I have to watch what I’m doing now, like working on something for too long and injuring myself…
