Smoky or Smokey Quartz is associated with the root chakra. It is a grounding stone, meaning it can assist with keeping us from being scattered. Our thoughts and emotions tend to be all over the place but when you hold or are near a smokey quartz, it can help you to be more present. For me, I always keep a grounding stone when I’m driving.
